There should be an offline mode where can play without internet, but you just don’t have as many playing options. The Original Contra games were never like that, you could play them absolutely anywhere with no restrictions or cache. I want to be able to play on my own terms without very many restrictions like these. They call them “on-the-go games” and you can play them “anywhere”, but really, it’s anywhere that has WiFi. They always have limited time sales, but it doesn’t mean a thing when a week later they decide they didn’t mean to have the items you bought at the price they advertised so they decide to take away the items and their compensation for it doesn’t even come close to the $ you paid.
